Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor
An EHS Supervisor at Eaglerise Renewable Energy (USA) Inc. in Fort Worth, TX (76131) is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment. This role includes ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, conducting audits and inspections, developing training programs, and promoting a safety-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance and Regulation:
• Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and standards, including EPA and OSHA.
• Stay updated on changes to environmental laws and regulations.
• Manage and maintain required permits and reports.
Environmental Management Systems:
• Develop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and programs.
• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of ISO 14001 or other environmental management systems.
Risk Management:
• Identify, assess, and mitigate environmental risks associated with company operations.
• Develop and implement spill prevention and response plans.
Waste Management:
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams, including storage, transport, and disposal.
• Lead efforts in waste reduction and recycling initiatives.
Data Management and Reporting:
• Collect, analyze, and report on environmental performance data.
• Prepare and maintain environmental reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Training and Communication:
• Develop and deliver environmental training programs for employees.
• Communicate environmental information to management and other stakeholders.
Other Duties:
• Conduct environmental audits and assessments.
• Collaborate with other departments to address environmental concerns.
• Respond to environmental emergencies and incidents.
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance, environmental management, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems
• Fluent in English and Spanish (Chinese proficiency id s plus but not required)
Benefits
• Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
