Winding Operator
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience operating winding machinery or similar equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of winding processes and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Transformer Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
• Drive license (Required)

Benefits
• Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities
• The Winding Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of winding machinery used in the production of electrical coil and transformers
• The operator ensures that products meet quality and safety standards while maintaining efficient production processes
• Machine Operation:
• Set up and operate winding machines to produce coils and transformers according to specifications
• Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and product quality
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
• Quality Control:
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Perform corrective actions on defective products and report any significant issues to the supervisor
• Maintain detailed records of production output and quality checks
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery
• Ensure the work area is clean and free of hazards
• Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor immediately
• Process Improvement:
• Suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on production processes and safety guidelines
