Assures safe, quality products and processes by establishing and administering food safety and quality standards, testing materials and product through leadership and management of all quality department members. The Quality Supervisor will be the backup for the Quality Manager, SQF Practitioner, and HACCP Coordinator, and vice versa. Reports directly to the Quality Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Learn, practice, and adhere to all Safety policies & procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) established for NLX
• Learn, practice, and adhere to all Quality policies and procedures including Safe Quality Food (SQF), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Quality Points (HACQP).
• Maintains product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies and procedures and government requirements; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Perform Refractometry, pH reading, Titratable acidity.
• Read and report microbiological plating of finished products.
• Perform Line checks
• Assist with sanitation tasks, equipment and schedules
• Perform other duties as assigned
