Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Hours are Monday through Friday 5:50am-2:20pm. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various fabrication processes. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining stamping presses and other machinery to produce high-quality components. Your expertise in tooling and assembly will contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our operations.
Responsibilities
• Operate stamping presses and press brake machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Set up tooling and adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools for assembly and disassembly of components as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment, ensuring all machines are in good working condition.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery operations.
• Experience with stamping presses, including setup and operation.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools for fabrication and assembly tasks.
• Familiarity with press brake machines and their applications in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of plasma cutting techniques is a plus.
• Experience in machining processes and programming is desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
• Experience on Trumpf press brakes is a plus
