Work shift days & times:
2nd shift Material Handler-Monday to Thursday, some Fridays, 3:45 pm to 2 am.
2nd shift Machine operator-Monday to Friday, 2:45 pm to 11 pm.
Qualifications, Skills, Requirements Needed:
No felonies, misdemeanor, pending charges in 7 years. Must have longevity in work history. Fork lift experience preferred.
Material Handler- Responsibilities Include:
Always perform duties in a safe and responsible manner, never putting themselves or any other associates at risk.
Always wear appropriate PPE for the situation (see JSA/PPE)
Follow directions and work together with Supervisors/Leads and other associates.
Count Boxes, bags and empty pallets at the beginning of each shift.
Inspect Forklifts and complete check-off sheets at the beginning of each shift.
•Inspect and test tape and strapping dispenser to ensure everything is working properly and is in good condition.
•Troubleshoot (basic) machine problems to determine and/or prevent operating issues. Alert maintenance staff when necessary.
•Adheres to client job specifications and company SOPs to ensure quality work.
•Work diligently and efficiently to eliminate down time and help achieve production schedules.
•Report to supervisor(s) regularly to update them on progress
•Housekeeping duties in and around the warehouse as necessary (also startup/shutdown/downtime)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
– Inspect boxes to ensure that they are non-defective and labeled appropriately as they come down the conveyer.
– Tape, Strap, and Palletize boxes.
– Wrap pallets with shrink wrap and stack with the forklift.
– Scan each box and load onto the forklift while ensuring that the handheld scanner, truck check off sheet, and E1 all match.
– Complete all paperwork and communicate with truck drivers.
– Unload trucks when supplies are brought.
– Remove waste from the cleanroom, weigh waste, record on Waste Weight Log and maintain Waste Trailer.
Machine Operator-Responsibilities-
Operate Machinery: Set up, operate, and maintain various types of machinery to ensure smooth production processes.
Monitor Operations: Continuously monitor machine operations to maintain accurate product measurements and quality standards.
Perform Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
Adjust Settings: Make minor adjustments to machinery settings to ensure dimensional accuracy and product quality.
Documentation: Complete necessary documentation and reports related to machine operations and maintenance activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure production goals are met efficiently.
