Flexible Staffing is hiring for Customer Service Representatives for one of the worlds largest logistics companies. The hours are Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. Following are the skills needed to be successful in this role.
- Prioritize the daily workload and focus of accounts, including load entry, tracking, and tracking reports as required
- Complete error-free entry into Transportation Management System and ready loads
- Enter loads and confirm notes about the status of shipments
- Set pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and customers
- Track the status of shipments from inception to delivery, and communicate with the customer on the status of the shipment
- Address issues that may arise on any shipment, and communicate with customer
- Communicate all shipments, billing, or follow-up issues to Sales and Carrier Procurement Teams
- Complete general tasks as assigned by Operations and Sales Manager
- Seek help from an account representative as needed
- Other duties as required and assigned
- High School diploma or GED
- Knowledge or schoolwork of logistics and the trucking industry preferred
- Understanding of industry terminology a plus
- Possess the analytical/math skills to construct and explain spreadsheet analyses
- Able to present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Able to calculate figures and amounts with precision and accuracy, such as discounts, interest, commission, percentages, area, and volume
- Able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
