Customer Service / Operations Support Job requires candidates to:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to related customer accounts.
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customer base.
- Assist customer accounts with questions and resolve any issues associated.
- Provide information on products and services.
- Prepare and process customer sales orders in CRM/ERP systems.
- Generate quotes for review and distribution to customers.
- Handle inquiries about open orders, deliveries, and past due’s.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments of Prudent American.
- Provides clerical support when needed to assist the Controller and Staff Accountant with assigned data entry duties such as monitoring the Accounts Payable email account, entry of invoices and bills, and preparing payment.
- Ensuring invoices that offer discounts entered and paid timely.
- Understanding the significance of coding to the proper expense accounts and departments.
- Responding to Vendors requests for payment status on open items.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Preparing Accounts Payable register to be reviewed by the Controller and approved by the CFO.
- Answers and directs departmental phone calls.
- Receives and distributes office mail.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the Customer Service / Operations Support position:
- Ability to type at least 60 words per minute.
- Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with data entry.
- Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
- Ability to think quickly and make decisions
- 1-3 years of customer service experience. Experience in a manufacturing/production setting is preferred, but not required
- Understanding of the NetSuite platform is highly valuable
